WWE RAW Results: The Miz's WWE Title to be On Line Next Week Against Bobby Lashley

The latest episode of the Monday Night RAW kicked off with the newly crowned WWE Champion The Miz celebrating his victory at the Elimination Chamber. However, it was cut short by Bobby Lashley and MVP as they reminded The Miz that he owes The All Mighty a title shot since. The A-Lister tried to talk his way out of defending the title right away but Braun Strowman too threw his hat in the ring. Shane McMahon intervened and set up the night's main event between the monsters of men.

Monday Night RAW Results in full:

Riddle defeated John Morrison:

Less than 24-hours after winning the United States Championship, Riddle went head-to-head against John Morrison in a non-title match. Morrison tried to get the upper hand earlier in the match with sharpshooter but the Original Bro resisted as the to-and-fro action continued. It looked like Morrison has bagged the win when he hit a Spanish Fly from the middle rope but Riddle managed to score the win by connecting a Bro Derek.

The New Day defeated Retribution:

The feud between The New Day and the RETRIBUTION continued as Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston took on T-Bar and Mace. The New Day dominated from the beginning and notched up the win as Kofi Kingston connected a Trouble in Paradise.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax defeated Asuka and Charlotte:

Asuka and Shayna Baszler kicked off the proceedings with an exchange of submissions. Jax and Charlotte were then tagged in and the former took control and grounded Flair with a powerbomb. Soon, the Empress went on a rampage against both opponents and locked Jax in an armbar but Baszler kicked her in the face. Charlotte then accidentally kicked Asuka and allowed Jax to hit a leg drop for the win.

Sheamus defeated Jeff Hardy:

After coming up short in the Elimination Chamber Sheamus and Jeff Hardy both tried take out their anger on each other on RAW. Sheamus overpowered Hardy right after the bell and continued to dominate the Charismatic Enigma. Hardy, however, fought back and hit Poetry in Motion followed by a Whisper in the Wind but didn't enough energy to make a cover. Sheamus recovered and hit a Brogue Kick for the win.

Bobby Lashley defeated Braun Strowman:

The main event was Strowman's opportunity to earn a WWE title bout, however, he had to beat Bobby Lashley to do that. As the two heavyweights, exchanged blows, it was Lashley who scored the first takedown with a waistlock but Strowman hit the same move a moment later for a quick one-count. Strowman tried to run Lashley over but the later jumped onto the apron to avoid a collision. Strowman then hit his trademark powerslam but Lashley managed to kick out and get to his feet to hit a Spear for the pin and the win.
